Be Kind to Animals: Alex and Ani Bangle to be Raffled at Algonquin Hotel Party
If you’re in New York City on August 2, 2014, please consider joining Matilda the Algonquin Cat at the Algonquin Hotel for their annual fundraiser. This year helps to support the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity working with over 150 partner pet rescue groups and shelters to transform New York City into a no-kill community.
One of the items donated is the “Paw Prints” bangle pictured above in the set. It means compassion, optimism and appreciation. About the bangle: Significant parts of our culture, pets are loyal companions that seek love. Optimistically the day will come when all dogs and cats have a loving home and family to belong to. Wear the Paw Prints Bangle and help to make this dream a reality for thousands of animals.
20% of sales will go directly to the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals that focuses on supporting, healing, and finding caring homes for dogs and cats.
I created the above pictured set and added in various beads along with the “Endless Knot” and “Star of Venus” bangles.
The “Endless Knot” has a meaning of wisdom, compassion and destiny. Representing the interweaving and ever-changing spiritual path, the endless knot expresses boundless wisdom and compassion. It illustrates an eternal pattern in its design, connecting one’s destiny bound by time and change. Wear the Endless Knot Charm to remind you of life’s journey and the entanglements of faith.
The “Star of Venus” has a meaning of love, beauty and inspiration. Venus, the jewel of the sky, was once known as the morning and evening star because it shined the brightest. Associated also with the goddess of love, the Star of Venus Charm is a reminder to uncover your soul’s beauty by allowing it to evolve and illuminate.
All are appropriate for a party filled with love, joy, giving, and most importantly, compassion towards our 4-legged friends.
The charm bangles retail for $28 and can be purchased at any Alex and Ani store or from their website, www.alexandani.com.
